This is an important piece in the Gods & Monsters series. -The figure in the house represents the believer in Gods, Monsters and Myths, both past and present.
Myths and religion are a reflection of the people from which they spring.
-For myths to have meaning, there must be believers for whom the stories resonate.
As people's needs change, so too must the Gods. -And change they do. What is declared religion in one time fades to myth, as it gives way to the new Gods coming after.
The woman figure in 'Dreamer' is my Keeper of the Flame; the one who still believes.
I attempted to give the land and sky a flowing, ever-changing feeling, to contrast it with the solidity of the hearth, home and firepit.
