Muninn -(Memory) ORIGINAL

Muninn is the second of Odin's two ravens, sent by the All-Father in Valhalla each dawn to observe all the 9 Realms and return each night. They would impart Odin with counsel, wisdom and secret knowledge obtained on their daily travels.

(Muninn means 'Memory' in Norse mythology.)

I wanted to give Muninn a more introspective feeling to contrast Huginn, to reflect we all live with our memories of times past.

Our memories are that which we cannot keep, that yet remain within us. Alongside our thoughts towards the future, our memories and experiences define who we are, as we move through this life. 

So for this piece, it felt right to have Muninn seeming to grasp at something, unseen.
